Designed for music educators who value outstanding sound quality and lasting craftsmanship, this five-piece Meisterklasse bundle provides a versatile combination of soprano and alto voices. From the sparkling clarity of glockenspiels to the warm articulation of rosewood xylophones and the rich sustain of a metallophone, students experience the tonal variety that makes Orff Schulwerk so engaging.

Why This SONOR Meisterklasse Bundle Works

A successful Orff classroom begins with instruments that complement one another musically. This five-piece set provides an excellent balance of melodic voices, contrasting timbres, and accompaniment possibilities, allowing teachers to introduce ensemble playing without overwhelming students with too many instruments at once.

The soprano and tenor-alto glockenspiels provide brilliant, bell-like tones that help melodies stand out clearly. The soprano and tenor-alto rosewood xylophones add warmth, articulation, and rhythmic definition, while the tenor-alto metallophone contributes sustained tones for harmonic support and accompaniment.

With all five instruments belonging to SONOR's premium Meisterklasse Series, teachers can build a cohesive classroom collection around instruments designed for expressive musical performance and long-term educational use.

Three Essential Orff Instrument Families in One Set

Glockenspiels – Brilliant Melody and Musical Color

With both soprano and tenor-alto glockenspiels, students can explore contrasting registers, melodic patterns, and layered musical textures. Their clear, ringing tones help students hear individual pitches and recognize melodic relationships within an ensemble.

Rosewood Xylophones – Warmth, Rhythm, and Articulation

SONOR Meisterklasse xylophones feature premium rosewood bars prized for their warm, resonant sound and musical responsiveness. The soprano and tenor-alto instruments provide opportunities for melodic playing, rhythmic ostinatos, call-and-response activities, and independent ensemble parts.

Metallophone – Sustained Harmony and Accompaniment

The tenor-alto metallophone adds an important sustained voice to the ensemble. Its ringing tones contrast beautifully with the shorter articulation of the xylophones, helping students discover how different instruments contribute to harmony, texture, and musical expression.
