About: Come explore all the layers of the rainforest with this swingin' collection of songs and activities filled to the canopy with facts about many of the wonderful creatures that dwell inside this fascinating habitat! Designed for both music and general classroom use in Grades K-3, Singin' in the Rainforest can be performed in its entirety as a musical revue, replete with eight songs and easy rhyming script, or it can be divided into smaller segments to reinforce learning done in other disciplines across the curriculum. This collection includes fourteen reproducible educational activities, a “Rainforest Vocabulary and Facts Guide”, “Life Science Curriculum Objectives”, and “Fast Facts for Teachers” for each of the seven different animals featured to help answer basic questions and allow you to have meaningful fun in both the classroom and onstage.  Songs include: Singin' in the Rainforest; Agouti; Toucan, You Can Do It; Red-Eyed Tree Frog; Ocelot; Spider Monkey; Blue Morpho Butterfly; Snakes Can Slither.
