Awake and Arise (2-voice)

2-Voice with Harp or Piano

TEXT

Watch, watch, even though night falls.
Watch, watch, keep thy vigil still.
Watch, watch, even though sleep calls.
Watch, watch, Rise and thy lamps fill.
For sure as night follows day the Bridegroom will come.
Wilt thou slumber? Can’st thou see soon He’ll come for thee?

Awake! Arise!
Watch, watch, it is now the darkest hour.
Watch, watch, quiet is the night.
Watch, watch, summon now all thy pow’r.
Watch, watch, hold aloft thy light!
For sure as night follows day the Bridegroom will come.
Wilt thou slumber? Canst thou see soon He’ll come for thee?
Awake!
