Full Synopsis
Act I:
Belle dreams of adventure beyond her small provincial town. When her father, Maurice, stumbles into the Beast’s enchanted castle, Belle offers herself in exchange for his freedom. Inside the castle, enchanted servants — Lumière, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, and Chip — reveal their plight: they’ve been cursed along with the Beast until he learns to love and be loved in return.
Act II:
As Belle and the Beast grow closer, Gaston plots to “rescue” Belle and claim her for himself. The story builds to the castle showdown, where the Beast is mortally wounded. Belle’s declaration of love breaks the spell, restoring the Beast and his household to their true forms.
